The second month of the year was just as full of latex joy as the first month was, partly in thanks to the
Brit Awards
where we were treated to not one but three latex filled moments; thanks to
Sam Smith wearing THAT outfit

, the
stunning Munroe Bergdorf
in
Atsuko Kudo
and both Atsuko and
Elissa Poppy
taking centre stage during one of the many performances. We sadly said
goodbye to Yummy Gummy as the brand shut its doors
as owner Rebecca Allsop ventured to pastures new, streamer and presenter
Elz looked incredible on the red carpet
and Harri, not happy with one mention in February,
launched his new collection at London Fashion Week
. The latex accessory trend took another step into the limelight as gloves from

were featured on the

. February also signified the launch of

July started with a bang as Parisian designer
Arthur Avellano won the highly prestigious ANDAM fashion award
, the first time the award has been credited to a brand which works so closely with latex.
Vex collaborated with Thom Browne to create his new couture collection
and the
new Alaïa RTW collection was launches with a wealth of latex garments
(and that was just the first week). In the second half of the month, the Barbiecore trend took hold and we were treated to a sea of pink latex from celebs including
