Handouts done this wink or eeeeeelse...

Also avatar has not cleared up by itself so... will have to try that from a different device or client... (probably my configuration problem with my local server. I'll figure it out.)

Good: The profile Icon and Banner images uploaded fine on the first try via the mobile webapp. (waterfox mobile, noscript whitelisted, recentish android kernel) Guessing there's a hiccup in the configurations between the browser I was using on desktop and the desktop environment itself. Honestly I'm thrilled #gajim works as well as it does with integration, and that #Psi+ still plays nicely with media.

We'll be hooking up links as articles are completed and published! Titles and descriptions and the rest may change with updates.

    Thanks for the patience.

Curious about updates but busy yourself? Surely there are follow and like options at our disposal handily! We also update on LightBocks mastodon

Thanks for reading around and tinkering with Free and Libre Open Source Software.

I thought I accidentally fed my intro post to the UI yesterday, but this morning I discovered our local draft mechanic. What a relief.
I've only done a few posts of different lengths on Movim, and on entire other servers so, we'll see how many ollies it takes to jump this learning curve.
Currently I'm in a waiting-phase of tinkering to see if my profile staple images appear properly, of if I'm accidentally jamming upload with a plugin or desktop incidental.

    Hullo.

You can call me Zeige. I try help people better their netizinship and digital independence. I'm going to be so good at migrating very soon. There is a lot to do, and this is neither my first nor last rodeo. My priority right now is finishing presentation modules for ASAP on-boarding assistance and talking to locals. Right after that is migrating my content here and uploading informational, which takes some finishing and reformatting.

E/Immigration of every kind is inevitable and necessary, like the flow of water. We always need people to have a hot drink and 15 about the in-between steps. And let's not kid ourselves -- there is some vocabulary and cultural adjustment in the crossover between the casino-racetracks and the independent federation, our effervescent and organic flotilla. Reciprocity, user consent care, and self-management/right-to-repair are core values of the Fediverse and FLOSS, and there is nothing teaching these or practical privacy configurations in the ad-mills. To maintain that, I include a little history (what's Gnu Herd?) and etiquette (why AltTxt and CW are Normal not Optional) gets in with the maps and instance selection discussion, with a few jokes for padding, of course.

Thanks for your patience, neighbors. Live long and prosper.
